I recognize that a specification of the current commit could be precious, (as mentioned in a thread talking about the possibility of git-bisect using detached head rather than a branch). And that's why I proposed a checkout away from detached head just printing the name of the commit that was being left. Is there any other precious information that that solution would not address? -Carl --pgp-sign-Multipart_Thu_Feb__1_17:27:19_2007-1 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBFwpN86JDdNq8qSWgRAo70AJ9QqiIpLhHZ2RLiWTicBYJYhuumzwCfbQLI dVA32101fXX+78rC+WF7k60= =TJc2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --pgp-sign-Multipart_Thu_Feb__1_17:27:19_2007-1--
