Hmm.  So Microsoft has a lot of cash, and they need a distributed
filesystem that scales well.  Namesys has the knowhow to implement a
good (proper) distributed filesystem, but needs funding. ... scary.  ;-)

Too bad Gates and co. would never allow MS to fund something that would
directly benefit Linux, even if they got a lot out of it too.

(And I don't know how Hans would feel about accepting money from MS.)
