I certainly have room for improvement on sending timely fixes pull
requests, no question.
Perhaps we did get some fixes through faster before. But we also dropped
more fixes on the floor and we had less confidence in them. Now they all
go through the CI and get applied to our next, meaning even the ones
that aren't cherry-picked for the fixes fast path will eventually make
it. At least I have more confidence in the fixes pulls I send now than
six months ago, and any latency introduced by waiting for CI is IMO
worth it.
