Subject: lock with COBOL (file curruption)
Date: Sun, 23 Mar 2003 15:16:46 -0300	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <87u1du2bjl.fsf@retteb.casa> (raw)

Hello Folks,

I have problems when use a COBOL program. I'll provide a SSH session
for many users run this program from server so I need lock support.

I've tested this using DOSEmu 1.0.2.1-11 in Debian with FreeDOS but
this doesn't work. If I use only one session, all works fine but when
more then one use the same program I can change the same data in both
and this corrupt my files.

I don't know if the filesystem or DOS version can be the problem. The
partition where the files are placed is ReiserFS but if needed I can
move this to FAT.

Someone know how I fix this problem?

Thanks for any help.
Otavio Salvador
