Subject: Adaptec 7902 driver. Possible NMI watchdog lockup; linux-2.6.16.19
Date: Sat, 03 Jun 2006 22:11:17 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <87verhllfe.fsf@corps.glidepath.invalid> (raw)

Hi,

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong group to post this issue. I
think the following is an Adaptec 7902 driver problem.

I am testing the 2.6.16.19 linux kernel on a Tyan 2882 motherboard.
Its running with a pair of Opteron 250 processors. When I try to boot
with the kernel, it seems to fail on the scsi driver. A console log
of the errors is attached below.

Thanks for any help and suggestions,

Marc
