Subject: procfs: provide ipc mountpoint
Date: Fri, 12 Feb 2010 16:22:00 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <87wryieaxz.fsf@exys.org> (raw)

Greetings,
is it possible to provide an empty directory "ipc" in procfs, so we can
mount ipcfs on top of it? It has been suggested to submit ipcfs as part
of a procfs patch, but i realize most people will prefer dbus over unix
pipes. I think providing an empty /proc/ipc doesn't hurt that much.
Let me know if that works out for everyone, and i'll go supply a patch.

thanks.
