The drivers and mixer settings are OK because XINE is capable of driving all 6 speakers perfectly during DVD playback; what I'd like is to have XMMS playing on 6 (5 is ok, don't care about center channel). I've downloaded "Alsa 0.9 Xmms Output Plugin" that mirrors output for the front channels on the rear ones but still nothing from the LFE. I'm not into alsa architecture enough to be able to modify the source code of this plugin (few lines) but if you like I can post it here so that someone more capable of me can do the job.
