Well, we=B9ll see. I think even in it=B9s current form it=B9s probably no worse than what=B9s there right now. I=B9ll see if there=B9s any robustifying to be don= e (better handling of cases that are not yet supported, in particular). Of course ultimately we will replace the whole lot with a call into x86_emulate(). Adding all this special-case code will make it all the sweeter when the day comes that we replace it all with just x86_emulate(). :-) -- Keir --B_3256921710_54215587 Content-type: text/html; charset="ISO-8859-1" Content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable Re: [Xen-devel] [PATCH] [HVM] Patches to make HVM capable of running= OS/2. I'm looking at that now.

I apologize to your eyes, and hope it won't ruin your weekend. ;)
That one shouldn't go in in its current state, at least.

Well, we’ll see. I think even in it’s current form it’s p= robably no worse than what’s there right now. I’ll see if there&= #8217;s any robustifying to be done (better handling of cases that are not y= et supported, in particular). Of course ultimately we will replace the whole= lot with a call into x86_emulate().

Adding all this special-case code will make it all the sweeter when the day= comes that we replace it all with just x86_emulate(). :-)
