Subject: [lm-sensors] [PATCH 1/1 RESEND 3] i2c: add BroadCom HT-1000 to
Date: Wed, 22 Feb 2006 12:25:35 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <E1FBt3n-0005KU-00@devix> (raw)
From: Martin Devera <devik at cdi.cz>
Add BroadCom HT-1000 south bridge's PCI ID to i2c-piix driver. Note
that at least on Supermicro H8SSL it uses non-standard SMBHSTCFG = 3
and standard values like 0 or 9 causes hangup.

Kudos to Rudolf Marek for its helpful comments.
In v3 of the patch I removed comment where I guessed that fix_hstcfg
might be useful on HT-1000 too but it was only speculation based
on SMBHSTCFG value.
