alloc_contig_range already has gfp_mask and it respects __GFP_NOWARN.
Why shouldn't people use it if they don't care the failure?
Semantically, it makes sense to me.

About the messeage flooding, shouldn't we go with ratelimiting?
I see those two problem are orthgonal.
