Subject: "b4 send" only handles one instance of sendemail.smtpserveroption
Date: Mon, 6 Jan 2025 15:11:44 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <Z3vkoDal1ShoPpqG@probook> (raw)

Hi,

(using b4 version 0.14.2)

first of all, thanks for implementing sendemail.smtpserveroption in b4 :)

Upon trying to use this option with b4, I noticed that the resulting
command line only contains the last instance of
sendemail.smtpserveroption specified in the git config.

I think it should be possible to specify multiple options:

(quoting manual page git-send-email(1))
> --smtp-server-option=<option>
> If set, specifies the outgoing SMTP server option to use. Default
> value can be specified by the sendemail.smtpServerOption
> configuration option.
>
> The --smtp-server-option option must be repeated for each option
> you want to pass to the server. Likewise, different lines in the
> configuration files must be used for each option.
