Personally I would split this into two patchs
patch 1/2: that uses BR2_LINUX_KERNEL_CUSTOM_DTS_DIR instead of
           BR2_LINUX_KERNEL_CUSTOM_DTS_PATH and removes the vendor prefix
	   from the .dts.
patch 2/2: that bumps to linux 6.12.xx.


Regardless if splitting this patch or not:
