Appear noise. This problem is appear when enabled dmix plugin through configuration file ~/.asoundrc. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- yure - 02-28-05 15:22 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Patch bmp-0.9.7-alsa-fixes.patch (34,761 bytes) doesn't fix problem. I performed 3 tests: 1. 8 instances of bmp player. One of them periodically has distorted sound. 2. From xmms I have same problem. 3. 8 instances of aplay. I don't have any problem with sound. But I have warnings: Playing WAVE '01.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, Stereo underrun!!! (at least 0.028 ms long) underrun!!! (at least 0.008 ms long) underrun!!! (at least 0.004 ms long) underrun!!! (at least 0.007 ms long) While I perform all tests I started archive operation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- warly - 02-28-05 15:26 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a similar problem using alsa (1.0.8) with xmms (1.2.10) and xmms-alsa.
