Summary:                    regression BUG:0001517 No sound on Acer TravelMate.
Description: 
The problem where solved in the CVS from 2006-03-01 but in the rc4 version
the problem returns.

Use "model=laptop".
If it solves the problem, let me know the output of "lspci -nv" for class
0403 device.

hmm... I can't see a "laptop" model option in patch_realtek.c v.1.64 I can
however see a laptop model in patch_analog.c, but it is not related to bug
#1517.
