&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I want to add &quot;printk&quot; messages in certain points in Xen for tracing<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; and debugging purposes.<br>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; As I understand, when I add printk messages to Xen they will appear only in<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; boot time on the terminal. After domain 0 is created and up, printk() messages<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; in Xen will not appear in /var/log/messages or on terminal.<br>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I had tried to add in some point in Xen:<br>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; .........<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; for_each_vcpu(d,v)<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; send_guest_virq(v,VIRQ_DEBUG);<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; .....<br>
When I reach this point in Xen , it generates the following:<br>
in the syslog (of domain0)<br>
...<br>
netif_schedule_list:<br>
&nbsp;kernel:&nbsp; ** End of netif_schedule_list **<br>
...<br>

(I assume that this is somehow connected to the call: request_irq(bind_virq_to_irq(VIRQ_DEBUG),...<br>

in netback.c but I don't know the exact origin of this message)<br>
