Sorry about this comment -- I thought this was about double blank lines (which I unconsciously delete every time I see one). I just sent v4 of this patch handling your concerns. As we discussed, let's put patch 2 on hold for now, until we can get a more concrete strategy to handle data corruption on reconnects mid-writes. Thanks! Enzo
