Subject: Centrino laptop source?
Date: 28 Aug 2003 03:43:03 GMT	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <bijto7$q7l$1@gatekeeper.tmr.com> (raw)

I'm looking to buy a laptop which is (a) Centrino base for the battery
life, (b) Linux compatible (would I post here else?), (c) available from
a vendor who is likely to be in business in a year, and (d) available
without and o/s installed, for obvious reasons.

The various supported lists seem to omit current machines and install
o/s information.

i will be handing these to a client and I *don't* want to support them
in the hardware sense!
