Subject: [uml-devel] cannot compile 2.6.1 uml-kernel, NPTL?

hi,
i'm trying to compile kernel 2.6.1 with the UML-patch that Jeff Dike
supplied. Well, i get that error:
gcc -Wl,-T,arch/um/uml.lds.s -static -Wl,--wrap,malloc -Wl,--wrap,free
-Wl,--wrap,calloc \
-o linux arch/um/main.o vmlinux -L/usr/lib -lutil
vmlinux(.text+0x1425c0): In function `sscanf':

: multiple definition of `strpbrk'

arch/um/kernel/tt/unmap_fin.o to 64 in vmlinux
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3/../../../../i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld:

attached is the .config i used o compile the UML-kernel.
just today, i recompiled my glibc to use NPTL. it's just my test-system,
the system i will run UML on will not have NPTL installed, but is it a
good idea to run UML on a NPTL-patched host-system in general?
Thx
Sven
