            Bug ID: 106788
Summary: DP audio plays slower than HDMI
           Product: DRI
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: DRM/AMDgpu
          Assignee: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: xmingske@gmail.com

This issue has persisted for some time I don't think it's a regression.

- h/w: HD 7950
- s/w
 * kernel: several versions, including mainline 4.6.13
 * xorg: several versions, including 1.19.6
 * kernel drivers: both radeon and amdgpu
 * ddx: both modesetting and amdgpu

The hdmi audio sounds perfect but the dp audio is slower which makes it sounds
like 45LP on 33.

Please advise any more info/logs which I should supply

Thanks
