Description:
System go to freeze completely whenever during game play e.g Counter Strike
global offensive ( Max setting). The hardware power reset is required. usually
the system will freeze after 15~20 minutes of play.
I noticed the frequency of my system freezing when playing games increases
after my laptop goes to suspend mode and play after waking up. Also I noticed
that the fan will keep spinning even after hardware power off cycling until I
have unplug the laptop and remove the battery.
Here my laptop configuration when running games:
1. DRI_PRIME =1 is set to all steam games
2. echo high > /sys/class/drm/card1/device/power_dpm_force_performance_level
3. echo performance > /sys/class/drm/card1/device/power_dpm_state
4. Performance governor is set
Steps to reproduce
