Date: Wed, 26 Sep 2007 16:00:12 -0700 (PDT)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-12582-8800@http.bugs.freedesktop.org/> (raw)

http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12582

Summary: Crash on GeForce 7300 SE
           Product: xorg
           Version: git
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: high
         Component: Driver/nouveau
        AssignedTo: nouveau-PD4FTy7X32lNgt0PjOBp9y5qC8QIuHrW@public.gmane.org
        ReportedBy: panov-ABcqYfMUPmYZY0rY4shWHijHesifYMBh@public.gmane.org
         QAContact: xorg-team-go0+a7rfsptAfugRpC6u6w@public.gmane.org

After start X displays artifacts on a screen, mostly at its bottom. Switching
to console causes crash and lock of a kernel with some responsibility to magic
sysrq. I used yesterday git versions of drm, xf86-video-nouveau and mesa on
slamd64-current linux (64 bit) distribution, linux 2.6.22.7 with SMP support on
Athlon dual core CPU, nvidiafb module was loaded.
