It was git snapshot b36fbf174849b04928efda2909c461b6c1688cdc. X boots fine and GDM appears, but the screen is set to 800x600, while the native resolution is 1280x800. The computer is a Dell xPS M1330. The card vendor is said to be "Dell". I don't know how much Dell is modifying the design. What do you need to introspect and maybe fix it? I hoped to find such instructions on the wiki. I didn't have the time to save the X log. I'll post it later. I know git and compiling myself so I can try patches and branches. I already submitted the renouveau dumps. I am looking forward to helping support my card model with XRandR 1.2. I haven't tried glxgears but 3D is not a priority to me. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
