Thanks for your bug report. Since there are two issues, could you submit two
bugs? Indeed the first one is fixed by
https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/project/buildroot/patch/20210215185541.111347-1-joerg.krause at embedded.rocks/.
But I'm not sure yet about the second issue at this point.
