Twin Pond/Iron Pond NICs do not bring the physical link down when shutting down the port. Implication: The link is reported as up even after issuing shutdown command unless the cable is physically disconnected. Resolution/Workaround: None. Affected Environment/Platform: Twin Pond and Iron Pond NICs Driver/Module: Poll Mode Driver (PMD).
