Date: Fri, 18 Jul 2025 21:04:04 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-1756-3@https.bugs.dpdk.org/> (raw)

Bug ID: 1756
Summary: Document setup process for dual port NIC loopback
topology
Product: DPDK
Version: 25.03
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: Normal
Component: DTS
Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
Reporter: probb@iol.unh.edu
CC: juraj.linkes@pantheon.tech, probb@iol.unh.edu
Target Milestone: ---
The current dts.rst file explains single link and 2 link topologies. However,
it would be a benefit if we added a sentence or two explaining that the single
link topology tests can also be run with a single dual port NIC with ports 0
and 1 directly connected, and explain how this is done.
