Subject: [DPDK/DTS Bug 1979] dts: allow functional and performance tests to run alongside each other
Date: Mon, 03 Aug 2026 17:31:32 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-1979-3@http.bugs.dpdk.org/> (raw)
http://bugs.dpdk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1979
Bug ID: 1979
Summary: dts: allow functional and performance tests to run
alongside each other
Product: DPDK
Version: 26.07
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: DTS
Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
Reporter: abailey@iol.unh.edu
CC: juraj.linkes@pantheon.tech, probb@iol.unh.edu
Target Milestone: ---
Currently, when both functional and performance tests are defined to run, DTS
crashes when switching from a performance test to a functional test. This is
because TREX hijacks the drivers in the TG. DTS should support the ability to
run these tests side by side if possible.
