Date: Wed, 27 Feb 2019 04:08:38 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-216-3@http.bugs.dpdk.org/> (raw)

https://bugs.dpdk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216

            Bug ID: 216
           Summary: rte_eth_rx_burst   nb_pkts   issue
           Product: DPDK
           Version: 18.11
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux
            Status: CONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: Normal
         Component: examples
          Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
          Reporter: gain1974@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Environment: Linux - Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS

NIC: Dell Ethernet Controller 10-Gigabit X540-AT2

DPDK Example: load_balancer

Function:
n_mbufs = rte_eth_rx_burst(port,queue,lp->rx.mbuf_in.array,(uint16_t)
bsz_rd););

BUG:
If set bsz_rd to 1, then rte_eth_rx_burst will ALWAYS return 0.
Which means load_balancer will never receive any packet...
