Summary: radeon dri detects different number of pipes each boot
Product: DRI
Version: XOrg CVS
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: DRM/Radeon
AssignedTo: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: alexandre.nunes@gmail.com
Hi,
Whenever I boot my system, I get either:
a) 3 pipes reported by dri. System works fine, and flash plugin works very
fast.
b) 1 pipe reported by dri. System works fine, and flash plugin works very slow.
On the log I get:

I.e., the line that reads radeon: 3 quad pipes, 1 z pipes initialized sometimes
changes to 1 quad pipes.
Loading/unloading the driver does not change that, only reboots/power cycles
do.
