Subject: [dpdk-dev] [Bug 359] Makefile calls 'pkg-config --path'
Date: Sat, 02 Nov 2019 20:55:12 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-359-3@http.bugs.dpdk.org/> (raw)
https://bugs.dpdk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359
Bug ID: 359
Summary: Makefile calls 'pkg-config --path'
Product: DPDK
Version: 19.08
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: meson
Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
Reporter: knock@myopendoor.de
Target Milestone: ---
The examples e.g. bond test first via pkg-config where to find the SDK. Later
in the script pkg-config is called with the path option:
PC_FILE := $(shell $(PKGCONF) --path libdpdk)
But '--path' is not a valid option to pkg-config. Result: make fails.
See e.g. https://www.commandlinux.com/man-page/man1/pkg-config.1.html
