I'm sure. I used to be able to properly connect my HDMI TV. Then I upgraded Ubuntu to Natty, installed a second partition with the proprietary drivers in case I need audio, and linked both home directories, which may have messed with some setting. Now, I connect my HDMI TV and get this nice pop-up which asks me to reconfigure my screen settings. I set the TV's resolution to 1920x1080. The system thinks it works, I get a huge desktop and lose my mouse pointer when it goes beyond the right edge, but the TV says "no signal". My xorg.conf and dmesg output are here: http://pastebin.com/TvGCPS01 I am using the minimal 4-line xorg.conf, but the same happens with no xorg.conf at all. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
