On a notebook with an NVa5 chipset (PCI ID 10de:0a28 Subsystem 103c:7001),
the nouveau driver (DDX from today's git, kernel module from 3.0.0-rc2) crashes
the X server when starting KDE 4.6, after displaying the splash screen
correctly.
