X locks up, though I can still move the mouse. When I close or restart X the GPU locks up completely; the screen turns black and stays black. SysRq magic keys still work to reboot; restarting X through Alt-SysRq-K does not work. Happens on 2.6.38 and 3.0.4 kernels - I am now running 3.1-rc9 to see if it solves the problem. It has not yet occurred with that kernel but I am only running it for a couple of hours now. The problem does not happen with my NV05 (Micro-Star MS-8806). When it occurs again, I'll try to ssh into the computer to get a dmesg & xorg log. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
