Summary: pink/purple line displays to the left of the screen
Product: Drivers
Version: 2.5
Kernel Version: 3.4.0
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Tree: Mainline
Status: NEW
Severity: low
Priority: P1
Component: Video(DRI - non Intel)
AssignedTo: drivers_video-dri@kernel-bugs.osdl.org
ReportedBy: damoxc@gmail.com
Regression: Yes
Ever since the upgrade to 3.3 I've had a pinkish purple vertical line down the
left hand side of the screen that's probably 2-5px wide. It happens early in
the boot process (I imagine as soon as KMS in engaged). I've had a look through
the boot log but can't see anything suspect, but then I don't really know what
I'm looking for.
Anyone who can give some help in where to look for additional information to
help resolve this would be most appreciated.
