Subject: [Bug 53261] New: [i915g] Performance regression in git
Date: Wed, 08 Aug 2012 17:35:51 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-53261-502@http.bugs.freedesktop.org/> (raw)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53261
Bug #: 53261
Summary: [i915g] Performance regression in git
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Mesa
Version: git
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drivers/Gallium/i915g
AssignedTo: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: jano.vesely@gmail.com
I tested OpenArena demo088-test1.dm_71. and the pramerate dropped from 17 to 6
fps. I have seen similar drop(more than 50%) in anholt.dm_68 too.
mesa-8.0.4 runs fine.
I think this might be related to
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52405.
I can theoretically bisect, but it is an Intel Atom machine so it will take
some time.
