https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60716
Bug ID: 60716
Summary: Black screen with nouveau if brightness = 0 or 100
Product: Drivers
Version: 2.5
Kernel Version: 3.11-rc4 (and oldier…)
Hardware: All
OS: Linux
Tree: Mainline
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P1
Component: Video(DRI - non Intel)
Assignee: drivers_video-dri@kernel-bugs.osdl.org
Reporter: renault@fedoraproject.org
Regression: No
Hello,
I have a nVidia Quadro 1000m card with nouveau driver.
If I set the brightness in 0 or 100 value (min and max), the screen was black.
For others values, no problem, the screen has a normal behavior.
It's not normal for me to do that.
Do you need more details to solve that ? Any idea about the origin ?
