Subject: [dpdk-dev] [Bug 646] mrvl: memset wrong struct when session clear
Date: Tue, 02 Mar 2021 02:36:24 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-646-3@http.bugs.dpdk.org/> (raw)
https://bugs.dpdk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=646
Bug ID: 646
Summary: mrvl: memset wrong struct when session clear
Product: DPDK
Version: 20.08
Hardware: ARM
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: Normal
Component: cryptodev
Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
Reporter: hanshuang87@gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
In function mrvl_crypto_pmd_sym_session_clear, when memset mrvl_crypto_session
object, pass wrong ptr which point to rte_cryptodev_sym_session.
original code:
memset(sess, 0, sizeof(struct mrvl_crypto_session));
It will cause a error message when do session clear:
set_sym_session_private_data: "Set private data for driver 0 not allowed"
I think the first parameter must be :
memset(mrvl_sess, 0, sizeof(struct mrvl_crypto_session));
