          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 76884
          Assignee: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Dithering not enabled on 6-bit per channel display
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: paula@parashep.com
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: DRM/Radeon
           Product: DRI

from what I've read, dithering configuration should be automatically configured
based on the OEM configuration of the display. however, on this laptop (HP Envy
17-1195ca), it clearly is not. built-in eDP display, 1920x1080 at 60Hz. it is
also a 3D display, and it also supports 120Hz. I don't use 3D or 120Hz mode so
I haven't tested those.

version 7.3+git1403171930
