Bug ID: 86401
Summary: radeon: fatal exception in interrupt
Product: Drivers
Version: 2.5
Kernel Version: 3.14.14
Hardware: All
OS: Linux
Tree: Mainline
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P1
Component: Video(DRI - non Intel)
Assignee: drivers_video-dri@kernel-bugs.osdl.org
Reporter: ianmllgn@gmail.com
Regression: No
I am getting occasional kernel panics due to a fatal exception in an interrupt.
The stack trace shows that this occurs in radeon_get_crtc_scanoutpos. I am
using the RV730 XT [Radeon HD 4670] card. Unfortunately, I do not know how to
reproduce the bug as it happens very rarely.
