Created attachment 113889 [details] X server log file: `/var/log/Xorg.0.log` With Debian Sid/unstable, GDM 3.14.1-3 [1] and the X server 1.16.4 [2], the Xserver takes more than five seconds to start. The board is the ASRock A780FullHD with the following integrated graphics device. 01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RS780 [Radeon HD 3200] Looking at the log file of the X server, it seems like the monitor is several times probed for its EDID, which takes each time over a second. [ 17.061] (II) This device may have been added with another device file. [ 18.247] (II) RADEON(0): EDID vendor "SAM", prod id 404 Do you know if this is an X server problem or Radeon driver related? Please reassign if it is not a Radeon problem.
