Bug ID: 91445
Summary: Thick black borders around windows with Ubuntu
Product: Mesa
Version: 10.6
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: medium
Component: Drivers/DRI/nouveau
Assignee: nouveau-PD4FTy7X32lNgt0PjOBp9y5qC8QIuHrW@public.gmane.org
Reporter: issor.oruam-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org
QA Contact: nouveau-PD4FTy7X32lNgt0PjOBp9y5qC8QIuHrW@public.gmane.org
Created attachment 117329
--> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=117329&action=edit
what I see on Ubuntu 15.04
When installing oibaf ppa mesa 10.7.0devel, and also xorg edgers mesa 10.6.x,
on all Nvidia GPUs I've checked (GT210, GT560, GT610, GT640),
all windows show a thick black border, having always the same quantized size
(could be power of 2), instead of window border elements.
Attaching image and boot, kernel and xorg log.
I am available to provide further log/traces if necessary.
Mauro
