Apparently for some people, this problem goes away using 1024x768x16bit
colour. This doesn't work for me - it freezes qemu, and my xserver even got
stuck in a mouse grab once, after I killed qemu. So I'm running W2K in
24bit with the black lines problem atm... 

Another weird one - trying to install Fedora Core 2 test 3 from isos - the
screen gets garbled when the text mode menu type installer comes up - as if
its using an incorrect font or something.
