Here is the summary of the Consolidated pull request, I
did not want to flood the list with 66 Patches as I have
done in the past!
I have included patches from Nitin to address pending updates
to automake and autoconf.
This set also contains fixes for the new glib-2.0 and the updated
site/*-common files with the correct values for Alignment.
Please review and pull.
