Have you seen the following in include/sound/core?

#define kmalloc(size, flags) snd_hidden_kmalloc(size, flags)
#define kcalloc(n, size, flags) snd_hidden_kcalloc(n, size, flags)
#define kfree(obj) snd_hidden_kfree(obj)
