Summary:                    CMI9880 (IHDA) alsamixer no controll
Description: 
The compile went fine.
I have sound,with alsa.In alsamixer all trigger on 0, but i have sound.
I cant raise the trigger.
No SPDIF out.

The system default doesn't include dmix but only softvol.
If you want to use dmix together with softvol, too, define like the
following:

pcm.!default {
    type softvol
    slave.pcm {
        type dmix
        ipc_key 5678293
        ipc_key_add_uid yes
        slave.pcm "hw:1,0"
        slave.rate 44100
    }
    control {
        name "PCM Playback Volume"
        card 1
    }
}

Okay, here is:
I make .asoundrc, and paste the code what you wrote.
xmms start, and set Output to alsa.
When i try to move the volume controll, nothing happen.The volume always
the same level.on zero (trigger on the left) there is no sound.
in alsamixer no change.All play level on zero, and no spdif out.
