For some reason this patch breaks two of our builds on master...

It gives the error during tisdk-default-image do_rootfs:

Which is annoying because it doesn't say why it failed, just that it 
failed...

I bisected it down to this patch.

All other platform/variant combinations work, and scarthgap works...
