Subject: udev rules error - where did it happen?
Date: Sun, 19 Mar 2006 20:24:16 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <dvkejs$4ai$5@sea.gmane.org> (raw)

root@nandemonai:/etc/udev/rules.d# udevtest /class/usb_device/usbdev3.3 usb
main: looking at device '/class/usb_device/usbdev3.3' from subsystem 'usb'
add_to_rules: invalid rule '"'
main: opened class_dev->name='usbdev3.3'
udev_rules_get_name: no node name set, will use kernel name 'usbdev3.3'
create_node: creating device node '/dev/usbdev3.3', major = '189', minor '258', mode = '0660', uid = '0', gid = '0'
root@nandemonai:/etc/udev/rules.d#

udev 079 on (k)ubuntu dapper. well: in which file is that invalid rule?
filename and line would be a big help. please ignore incase this is already
improved in newer versions.

Andreas
