Subject: [ath9k-devel] No N speeds with WMP300N + WRT610N
Date: Wed, 24 Dec 2008 12:00:09 +1100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <gis1it$1vn$1@ger.gmane.org> (raw)
Hello, I am pretty new to the N under linux thing, so any guidance would be great.
I have the equipment in the subject, and under the stock 2.6.27-r6 gentoo kernel I get a transfer speed of 2MB/s as reported by rsync -ahP with a 100Mb file (across nfs). I am using WPA2 tkip.
I get the same results with the compat-wireless-2.6 tarball.
With the latest wireless-testing git, plus wireless-compat (both from yesterday), I get around 100Kb/s transfer! Not really heading in the right direction.
Below is the dmesg on the ath9k load with debug enabled (with the latest wireless-testing and compat). I have the AP set to N-Only on both 5Ghz and 2.6Ghz channels. Any tips on getting this up to speed?
