I've gotten a few requests off-list regarding the status of this, so I thought I'd post a general update: (a) The SX-SDWAG is discontinued; Silex Technology US put out a "last buy request" notification to its resellers and distributors about 6 months ago. (b) Several Chinese-language websites lead me to believe there are several companies in China that may have stock of this item; I have emailed them, but it is currently Chinese "Spring Festival", where pretty much no one works Feb 8 - 22 (and then of course have a big backlog when they get back), so I don't expect to hear back from any of them until early March. (c) If you would be interested in going in on a group purchase of these, please email dclark at pobox.com with how many you would want and what range of prices you would be interested in that number (I've seen old prices from $70 to $160 on various web sites). I'm guessing if a Chinese supplier has them there will be a MOQ (minimum order quantity) of somewhere between 10 and 100, so group purchase would probably be the only way to get them.
