That didn't work for me, I had to do:
http://git.angstrom-distribution.org/cgi-bin/cgit.cgi/meta-texasinstruments/diff/recipes-graphics/xorg-xserver/xserver-xf86-config_0.1.bbappend
Which I suspect it a layer ordering issue.
Anyway, your series has been applied.
