Subject: Radeon 9600 results
Date: Mon, 20 Oct 2003 08:34:14 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3ptgr3ouh.wl@ipinfusion.com> (raw)

I've tried Radeon 9600 with the latest linuxppc_2_4_benh and
linuxppc-2.5-benh.

linuxppc_2_4_benh:

With the recent change, radeon fbdev start recognizing 9600! Thanks
for benh. After the kernel boot, it switch over to fbdev. Screen
has some noise. Then I start X, a few seconds later, it stop
  working. Screen is frozen.

linuxppc-2-5-benh

After kernel boot, screen has some noise like linuxppc_2_4_benh.
But X works like a charm. There is no noise at all. After quitting
X, even on terminal the noise goes away...
